Ms. Atkisson is a highly respected journalist, one who has proven she can not be bought off. Her TED talk is important, as it illustrates how moneyed special interests seek to control information, particularly when it concerns something of interest to them, and the tactics they use to do so.

She tells the truth entirely too much, hence she is no longer employed by CBS. I fear that if she keeps telling the truth, she'll get the same treatment as Michael Hastings or Andrew Breitbart.

AJ, it is a small world. I didn't think I recognized Hastings' name, until I realized my stepson played soccer against him, and his mom practices at the local hospital.

If anything happens to Sharyl, I think she'd be eligible for an insurance policy.
