NYC’s business elite in panic over cop slowdown

They’re freaked by the specter of a paralyzed police force, afraid to enforce the law because to do so risks the wrath of the mayor, violent protesters and deranged cop-haters. These folks are old enough to know this could plunge us back into the chaos of the late 1960s and early 1970s, when New York’s economy imploded and the city nearly went bankrupt.

"Tax breaks" and "biting the leftist hand that feeds them". I interpret that as "how to keep a population on the plantation in one easy lesson"...DeBlasio reminds me of Mayor David Dinkins and his carefree, freewheeling leadership policy that had crack being sold on every street corner and a 3 card Monte game in front of every store...And I wonder how many of these business owners are big gun control advocates? What's that line you always use from Zappa, Mike? Oh yeah, "Do you love it, do you hate it..."

This "Dog and Pony" show Fake rift between the Mayor and the Police, is a coordinated attempt by the Politicians and Cops,to Try and gain sympathy and public support for the Police, who have probably not been held in lower esteem by the American People, in at least 50 years if not longer!

They aren't AFRAID.
NOTICE please the REAL fear exists in the hearts of the politicians and the journalists- authorized journalists.
The "city" faces "Economic collapse" WHY??? Because the revenuers aren't out "policing" the people by putting their hands right into people's pockets in the form of tickets??? You mean.... The city BUDGETS based on CRIME? Oh really! Make or break budgets based to lay walking and parking tickets and speeding and improper lane usage? Ha ha ha. Fools.

NYPD cops has better never look back. Ok there may be room to police some of the worst traffic violations BUT they WILL lose all goodwill earned by this slow down if they return to "business as usual". We will soon see the TRUE HEART of the NYPD.
Do they want to be cops who capture REAL criminals OR do they want to return to being PETTY revenuers for crooked politicians? Choose wisely NYPD. For you won't get this opportunity again.

Nice to see the cockroaches scuttling about in New York City.

"Shocking many of the 300 in attendance, Bratton said that the mayor has his back in cracking down on quality-of-life crimes. Despite de Blasio’s anti-cop rhetoric and opposition to “stop and frisk,” he’s a proponent of the “broken windows” theory of law enforcement, Bratton claimed."

These are the terms of the debate promoted by this "news" organization: either you catch people for breaking windows and you allow "stop and frisk", or you don't do either. There is no possibility of getting rid of cop abuses without having crime go up.

To Hell with that! Tell me again why we need cops - or mayors?

New York City can rot as far as I'm concerned. Bankster Central... the whole place is run by crooks.
