How's that "government monopoly of force" thing workin' out for you, CSGV?

CSGV tries to explain "only one" misconduct within the confines of their "government monopoly of force" worldview. "For years, we have differed with the pro-gun movement over the use of coercive force in a democratic society. It is our contention that states with unregulated private militias are rarely, if ever, functional. That said, the government’s “monopoly on force” must be subject to civilian control, and it comes with tremendous responsibility to adhere to democratic principles of good governance. The Ferguson Police Department has breached their responsibility under any test. . ."
The situation in Ferguson should also be cause for reflection on the continuing arms race between civilians and law enforcement in our country. We must recognize that Ferguson is not the norm. The overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers are good men and women who are legitimately concerned about the type of firepower they are now being confronted with on America’s streets. This arms race is making our neighborhoods more dangerous and benefitting only one party: the gun industry, which sees continuing escalation as a business opportunity. We must all come together—civilians and law enforcement alike—to curb the proliferation of military-style firepower in our society.
They misspelled "benefiting."

The government types have the monopoly on "military style" firepower. As is the difference between semi-auto and full-auto.

CSGV is in all probability, an extension of one of FedGovs LEO/INTEL organs, designed for counter intelligence operations, domestic application. Look at their record, and all the things they say, and the final analysis is that they work ceaselessly to disarm Americans, and under any guise or purpose. Note the reflections that the police are not the bad guys, and that "society" (civilians) need to stop arming up, as well and the "gun industry" curbed. The only group there that should be disarmed, in their opinion, is the civilians. CSGV is an organ of the US. Govt., albeit under cover. Imperial Russia prior to 1917 used many COINTELPRO. After 1917, they were under new managment.

A government monopoly on force administered by people like Eric Holder, B. Obama, Lois Lerner...yeah, right.

Aaah, another crisis as a means not to be wasted. You see where this is heading? The cops are just as much pawns, no matter how brutal and violent their culture is becoming they. Lets see, suck em in with all sorts of toys, send in private contractors hired by the regime to run sumptuous seminars and conferences in private settings away from prying eyes, fill their minds with every sort of agitprop and rationalizations of going home safe, of course all paid for by tax payers, send em back to their American cities and towns loaded for bear looking for the boogeyman dejur, you know domestic terrorists, tea party people, libertarians etc.
It's pogrom by proxy on Americans the regime is afraid of, our plan use to create more mayhem and pogrom.
But like good cunning statists and psycopaths, (must have repeated myself), there are always multiple uses in every manufactured crisis. A major component in all this militarizing the police forces is when people have had enough and defy and resist the thuggery and violence, the regime steps in under the illusion of legitimacy that it is they who must control the police, and before you know it every excuse and lie imaginable is cunningly interwoven in the scheme to federalize civilian police departments, and with all the tyranny that entails. But the real prize is the lie that the people must be disarmed to bring peace and end the present and future bloodshed.
Its all a set up.
None of us or this great Republic would be in such dire straights nor would we be subject to the turmoil and division otherwise. We are more than capable of managing our own affairs and conduct our selves in a civil lawful manner.
It is these charlatans and tyrants running things who must go. These megalomaniacs in that cesspool on the Potomac River that must be removed from power.
The only way that can happen is if we tell them to go to hell. Withdraw consent, defy the bastards at every point.
The thing is there is not enough of them to rule over us if we understand this truth. If we don't watch out for each other we all will be pawns and ignorant dupes, grist for the mill of tyrants.
The bastards need us more than most can imagine. They need us to fund their treachery and treason all the while they need us at each others throats.
Its time to turn that around and go for their jugular.
Lets see them use natural law of self defense against our wrath for what they are doing to us.
Let them know they are right to fear America.

Translation of CSGV's statements: "The only people that can be trusted with guns are all the ones that have had the magic fairy dust of government authority sprinkled upon them. Except for the Ferguson Police Department."

And they don't see the irony in their statement. Possibly because they're either statists, or morons without critical thinking skills.

Notice the convenient shift since heller and a lean that way right before it? First they blamed the guns. Now, with individual rights to them established in their own "court" they seek to blame manufacturers.

Now, not even the "only ones" argument helps their cause so the "new" claim to fame is TOTAL disarming of everyone everywhere.

Lost on them is this simplicity - firearms cannot be "uninvented". Neither can the right to them be dispelled or dismissed. Hey, the heller McDonald combination really does present it's own set of dichotomies, chief among them the idiocy that the second requires the 14fh BUT, regardless, that duo has destroyed literally EVERY argument that modern day gun control has made to impose their rights violations.

They KNOW that "regulation of commerce" is the ONLY gun control they have left to wield. As such, they are indeed swinging for the fences, going after the manufacturers with their usurpation vampire teeth.

Manufacturers ought to take note, honestly, andcFIGHT BACK rather than seek "compromises". They should ALL come together to say ENOUGH and that if the garbage does not stop INSTANTLY that together they will move ALL manufacturing to ONLY those places where political hacks cannot reach their livelihoods. Or better yet they could engage in defeating the final argument itself.

Fed gov was delegated the authority to regulate commerce among the STATES not among the PEOPLE of the states.

Not even the anti gun folks are going to be able to demilitarize the "police". The ONLY way forward is the same solution found in the adoption of the Second - the PEOPLE are to have access to exactly the same arms as government. Why? For BALANCE do that each side respects the rights and duties of the other.

I wonder what would have happened had the protestors showed up armed?

A blood bath could have been highly likely....then again, maybe the police would be less likely to tear gas and rubber bullet protestors.
